Today the team and I slowed down the run to a moderate jog because I compete in California State Championships for Track and Field this upcoming weekend. My event is the 800 Meters. So over the next few days we will continue to slow the 5K down to a jog and speed it up again immediately afterward. On event day we will still do our 5K early in the morning so it doesn’t affect my energy as much.
