Tv station called. News van showed up. NBC reporter Hetty Chang interviewed me about why i’m running a 5K a day for 30 days. They were curious about why my dad has to call the police or sheriff each time before I run. It really made me think about all the people of color who’ve lost their life, got harassed, or hurt while doing normal things the rest of society gets to do at leisure. I’m running to help others but my dad has to drive to protect me possibly from those who are sworn to protect all of us. Thanks dad for doing what you do.
